Hudson Valley food, craft beer and wine festivals for 2022; a list

Bring your appetite! After a hiatus, sometimes of two years, many of the Hudson Valley’s signature food and drink festivals are returning, along with some others worth the drive.

Suds on the Sound, May 14

This new craft beer festival will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. in Rye Town Park in Rye. The event will feature more than 50 breweries pouring over 100 different beers. Among those in attendance: Garnerville’s Industrial Arts, Mamaroneck’s Decadent Ales, Port Chester’s Run & Hide, White Plains’ Wolf & Warrior, Elmsford’s Captain Lawrence, and the Newburgh Brewing Co. Food Truck Fridays, May 20

This event at Lewisboro Town Park, hosted by the Lewisboro Town Park Playground Improvement Project, includes an evening of music and local food trucks. 5-8 p.m. There is no cost to attend but registration is strongly suggested. Donations will go toward supporting the Lewisboro Playground Project. Register in advance at Lewisboro Town Park, 1079 Route 35, South Salem.
